-- Registration for the FPS Summer Learning Program 2022 has now closed. --

Different from past years, this year’s Summer Learning Program will be a 4-day program Monday through Thursday.  The reason for this shift stems from our commitment to honoring staff time and family time during the summer.  We often see lower student attendance on Fridays and Mondays due to family trips or travel. Offering a more condensed program will help us to properly staff the program and provide the flexibility for families and students to enjoy their summer while not missing out on the learning opportunities we offer.

The FPS Summer Learning Program is offered for students entering first through twelfth grade in fall 2022.  It is important to note that students entering sixth grade will be attending the middle school summer learning program and students entering ninth grade will be attending the high school summer learning program.

The program runs Mondays through Thursdays, June 20th through July 21st.  There will be no school on Monday, July 4th or Tuesday, July 5th.

The online registration window was open March 14th through April 3rd. Course requests are evaluated AFTER the registration window closes; scheduling is NOT done on a first-come basis. Students will be scheduled by lottery based on course availability. For students selected, families will be asked to confirm interest. For students not initially selected, they will automatically be added to waitlists and offered seats based on student commitments, class size, and staffing.

Please read the program overview and course offerings for more details of each program.  Summer learning schedules will be emailed to families in mid to late May. Classes will not run if they have insufficient enrollment or if a qualified instructor is not available to teach the class.

NOTE: Those looking for a Monday through Thursday afternoon and/or Friday offering for your child (completed 5K through entering 6th grade) can check out our Kids Camp programming here.
