Next School Year Registration
Children who will be five years old on or before September 1st, of the upcoming school year and live within the Franklin School District are eligible to enroll for 5 year-old Kindergarten in next school year.
Registration for new families is a two-step process:
1. Online Registration: Starting in early December, the district registration system (InfoSnap) will be available for new families to set up an account. This step can be made simple by having the following information available when you enroll your child:
- Important addresses and phone numbers
- Email addresses
- Student health information
- Emergency contact information
B. To finalize the initial registration process, please bring the following required documents to your assigned school or the Education & Community Center for verification:
Proof of Residency
It is required that you provide 1 item from each of the 2 sections as documentation for Proof of Residency:
Section 1:
- Current Property Tax Statement
- Recent Signed and Dated Closing Statement for Home Purchase or Current Mortgage Document
- Current Signed and Dated Resident Lease (must include landlord’s name, address and phone number along with your information and an effective date. Will be verified). If it is a month to month lease, you must be able to provide a September lease.
Section 2:
- Current Month’s Utility Bill (Gas/Electric/Water only) that lists resident's name£ Health or Auto Insurance Statement
- FoodShare/Quest Benefit Statement
- Medicaid/BadgerCare Benefit Statement
- 2 most recent pay stubs
A driver’s license will not be accepted as proof of residency.
Other Required Documentation
- Birth Certificate (original, view only)
- Student Immunization Record (252.04 and 120.12)
- Legal Custody Verification and/or Court Documentation (if applicable)
- Education Passport - Out of Home Care (if applicable)
The fee to enroll students for 5K for the upcoming school year is $34. Families will receive a class supply list from their child's teacher in late summer.
