This FAQ page provides answers to questions related to the 2021-22 School Year in regards to COVID-19, In-Person Instruction, and Virtual Instruction.  

We will update these FAQs as needed.  To the best of our ability, we will mark new or updated questions with (NEW) at the beginning of the question to draw your eye to new information. 

We thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate starting and continuing the 2021-22 school year.  Families can also expect summer updates using our newsletter format up until school starts and then bi-weekly district newsletters after the school year starts.  All information is housed on our FPS Communications Hub here.

LEARNING MODELS

Franklin Public Schools is offering in-person learning to all students for the 2021-22 school year. 

  • However, if a student is age 5-11, for whom a COVID-19 vaccine is not yet available, parents of those students can choose a virtual option.  
  • If any student K-12 has a medical condition that could be impacted by COVID-19, virtual learning is also available.
