FHS Student Parking is issued at a cost of $100 per semester. Initial application can be made in early August each year during the FPS Back to School Online Check In. Parents need to make sure their Power School access is current and as they complete the Online Check In they will be prompted to complete the parking application information.

In late August, students who have completed Online parking information will be able to provide the office with proof of current vehicle insurance (with current coverage dates for the vehicle listed on the application), will show their driver’s license and provide the $100 payment (if not already paid online) and will receive their parking tag.

*NOTE: Franklin Public Schools requires that each student permitted to drive a motor vehicle to and from school carry liability insurance on the vehicle, issued by a state certified insurance company.

Parent Permission is implied by completion of the online application at Back to School Online Check In (or later, by completing a Parking Application).

Parents/students should understand that all rules associated with the privilege of parking at Franklin High School are included in School Board Policy 5364. Parents are granting permission for their child to drive a motor vehicle to and from school and understand that this privilege may be suspended or revoked for inappropriate behavior. Should a student violate any of the rules in Board Policy or the Student Handbook, understand that parking privileges will be revoked and payment for the permit will not be refunded.
