The Community Events Page & Virtual Backpack for Franklin Public Schools is our way to share community happenings and events that may be important to our families.  This approach to distributing information supports the district's educational goals, mission, vision, and core values. Items represented on this page do not indicate support or endorsement from Franklin Public Schools.

Students in grades 6–12: Join Wisconsin Lutheran College this July for hands-on Summer Science Camps! Explore forensics, food science, microbiology, or health science in real lab settings. Camps run July 13–24, 9 AM–4:30 PM. Visit wlc.edu or contact karson.bateman@wlc.edu to register by June 8!

Wehr Reptile Day Su 6/7
Bring the whole family to Wehr Nature Center for our annual Reptile Day Event on Sunday, June 7th from 12-4 pm! Get up close with amazing snakes, charming turtles, and one-of-a-kind lizards and salamanders. **Tickets:** $7 per person (non-member), $5 per person (Friends of Wehr member).

Franklin Sabers Jr Cheer is hosting a one day cheer camp at Franklin High School on 07/01/26. Your child will learn basic cheers, receive a T-shirt, snack and cheer bow and have the opportunity to walk with the Jr Sabers in the Franklin 4th of July parade.

Sabers Youth Boys VBall Camp (to 7/16)
Franklin Sabers Boys Volleyball Summer Camp is July 20-23 from 6-8pm at Forest Park Middle School! Open to boys entering grades 6th-9th grades, all skill levels welcome. Camp is run by FHS head coach Runyon and FHS players.
