About Community Education & Recreation

The mission of the Franklin Community Education and Recreation Department, in active partnership with the entire community, is to promote wellness and life-long learning by providing a broad selection of physical, learning and leisure activities.  Franklin Public Schools has overseen this department since 1991.  We have programs running at all seven schools in the District.
