About Community Education & Recreation
The mission of the Franklin Community Education and Recreation Department, in active partnership with the entire community, is to promote wellness and life-long learning by providing a broad selection of physical, learning and leisure activities.
The Franklin School District has run this department since 1991. We have programs running at all seven schools in the District.

Love Thy Neighbor Seminar this Fall
From aging in place, to downsizing, it can feel overwhelming. These workshops are designed to provide resources and information on staying independent and “aging in place” while knowing how and where to seek some assistance.
Plan to attend this workshop presented by Love Thy Neighbor Foundation, with qualified and experienced community businesses and resources. Get empowered and find out how to help your aging loved ones.
