What's Happening at Ben Franklin?

Student Council

We want to introduce to you the 2019-20 student council representatives. These students were elected to student council by their classmates based on speeches they wrote. Teachers read these speeches so that the author was anonymous at the time of election. Our representatives are:

3rd Grade: Keira Severson, Euan O'Neil, Dominic Leija-Costarello and Brayden Irwin

4th Grade: Chase Borowski, Vanessa Bussler, Madelyn Murray and Dominic Bombien

5th Grade: Stephanie Collins, Brian Schilz, Isaac Trzcinko, Isabella Rosales, Sean Corcoran and Nathan Borowski

Mrs. Bleimehl is the staff member leading student council this school year.

We encourage all students and staff to dress up for spirit days. Classes can earn puzzle pieces to make a Saber head and earn a reward when they get two whole Saber heads.

We will keep you posted on what student council is doing throughout the school year. We will also be going to classrooms to promote spirits days and activities here at Ben Franklin.

Throughout the year the students participate in various Spirit Days. Click here for a list of upcoming Spirit Days.

Check out our Artsonia page! In the art room, Ms. Craft has been adding student artwork to an online program called Artsonia so that it can be seen by family, friends, and teachers. Click here to go to Ben Franklin’s Artsonia page to view projects. There is already some artwork posted and more will continue to be added all year. Please note, only students who have parent permission will have their work posted publicly. Also, fifth and sixth graders will be adding their own artwork and typing artist statements. Questions? Email Ms. Craft at allyson.craft@franklin.k12.wi.us.
