Gifted Programming
The mission of the Franklin Public Schools gifted program is to provide gifted students in the Franklin Public School System an education, which allows them to achieve their highest level of excellence and which meets their individual unique needs.
The Franklin Public School District identifies appropriate programming for students who give evidence of high performance capability in intellectual, creative, artistic, leadership, or specific academic areas using multiple criteria, in accordance with the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. Multiple data sources are used when planning appropriate programming. This may include standardized test scores, individualized testing, parent/guardian nominations, teacher nominations, student nominations, district assessment and student portfolios.
