Homeless Assistance Program

Homeless Education Assistance

It is the policy of the Franklin Public School District to ensure homeless children and youth are provided with the following: equal access to our educational programs, an opportunity to meet the same challenging academic standards of the State of Wisconsin and Franklin Public Schools and safeguards that protect them from discrimination or segregation on the basis of their homelessness.

Questions about rights and responsibilities in regard to homeless children can be addressed to Mary Jo Herrmann, Franklin Public Schools Homeless Liaison, at (414)525-7634 or Kristine Nadolski Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction Education for Homeless Children and Youth Program Coordinator at (608)-267-7338.
