FHS more National Merit students
About 34,000 Commended students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. Congratulations to the two FHS students who are in this category. Although they will not continue in the 2012 competition for National Merit Scholarships, Commended Students placed among the top 5% of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2012 competition by taking the 2010 Preliminaray SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).
FHS National Merit Semi-finalist
Congratulations to Franklin High School's National Merit Semi-finalists. Justin and Nick join a group of 16,000 students nationwide out of a pool of more than 1.5 million students representing 22,000 high schools based on their excellent performance on the 2010 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). The nationwide pool of Semifinalists, which represents less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors, includes the highest scoring entrants from each state.
FHS Remembers 9/11
As a prelude to our morning announcements, Mr. Cady spoke about the tenth anniversary of 9/11 and the events on that day. We had a moment of silence followed by a performance of the National Anthem by our students.

Cafe Prepay Resources
Beginning August 1, 2011, each family will be able to view their student’s lunch account balances through a new service called "Cafe PrePay." Using this optional service, families may add money to these individual accounts using their Visa, MasterCard or Discover. Students' participation reports will become available once school begins. Please note: There are other payment features on this web browser, but our school district will only be using the system for accepting payment for lunches. See Epay for other Franklin Public Schools payment features.
