Everyday Mathematics Parent Resources
The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction adopted the National Common Core State Standards that emphasize more in-depth learning in all areas. Franklin Public Schools has selected the Everyday Math program for grades K through 5 as the best way to implement the math standards. We are excited about the opportunity it presents for more engaging and self-paced learning in math.
One of the features of the new Everyday Math program is a web-based component that students can access at home. We strongly encourage students to log-in to Everyday Math and play the games at home, but it is not required. Students will also have the opportunity to play the Everyday Math games at school. The games are geared towards practicing math facts. Automatic recall of the facts allows students to focus on learning new concepts which require their use.
Student usernames were created by Everyday Math. Each student received a student login card with the login and password from the teacher. If login and password are not recognized, please try again and carefully reenter it as it appears on the card. If you are still unable to login, please ask your child’s teacher for the current information.
Because everyone has different personal computers, operating systems, and browsers, we've put together some resources to best help you to access Everyday Math online.
