The 2012 walk begun at the Milwaukee Country Sports Complex where participants enjoyed interacting the Franklin High School Sabor Robotics team and ended at the Puetz Road bridge watching their lucky ducks race down the Root River in the 3rd Annual Duck Derby.

The 2 and 3.5 mile fun walks followed a portion of Milwaukee County's scenic Oak Leaf Trail.  A sunny spring morning was spent with friends and family in support of Franklin Public Schools and the community.

New this year, all registrations directly benefited particpants school of choice. The net proceeds raised from the walk will be awarded proportionately per school, to fund grants from the Foundation. The amount awarded per school will be based upon participant registration as indicated on the registration form. 

The following are the registrations per school, Congratulations to Robinwood Elementary with 64 particpants, coming in right behind them was Pleasant View with 45 participants.

3rd Annual Duck Derby

Thank you to everyone who tried their luck on a duck! About 700 ducks where dropped from the Puetz Road Bridge and raced showly down the Root River to the finish line.
