Autism

The mission of the Franklin Public School's district Autism Support Team is to support students with an autism spectrum disorder by promoting awareness; providing teachers, families, and related service providers with resources in the areas of curriculum and learning experiences, training opportunities, collaborative team problem solving; and facilitating links to community agencies, so that students will achieve their highest level of personal and academic potential.

Team members, Amy Dwyer, Ph.D., Katie Carolan, MS/CCC, and Laura Eichel, OTR, collaborate regularly to maintain district resources, share training opportunities, and consult with requesting school teams.  At each school, a staff member is assigned the role as "AST Contact Person" to be the direct link to resources and support for that school.

To request consult from this team, please contact Dr. Dwyer at 414-525-7617.
