On Friday, June 8th, Franklin Public Schools honored the nominees of the You Rock! Award at a breakfast celebration. Board members and district administration joined the nominees to thank them for their contribution to our schools.

The You Rock! Program, in its first year, allows FPS employees to recognize each other for doing great work (using technology in an amazing way, making a difference in a child's life, finding a new and better way to do things at work). This program allows employees to recognize someone in any building in the district and every employee is eligible for nomination.

During the months of November-May, almost 70 employees were recognized by their colleagues and received a foam rock with an attached message. One employee was chosen each month from the group of nominees to recieve gift card to Hanley's Restaurant in Franklin.
