Foundation honored with a 2012-2013 "Friends of Franklin Public Schools" Award.

On December 12th the Board of Education honored the Foundation's contributions, through volunteer services or others donations that have significantly contributed to fulfilling the mission of the Franklin Public Schools. Wendy Dzurick, Director of Instruction for FPS, nominated the Foundation for providing educational opportunites to our district students. In her nomination she stated "Raising over 1,000,000.00 doesn't happen by accident. I have personally withnessed Marlene and FEF board members rolling up their sleeves and devoting countless hours to hosting a variety of well-run fundraising endeavors".

Cookie and Cocoa Valentine Delivery

As Valentine's Day approaches, you may be wondering what you can do for that special teacher who has had a positive influence on your child.

Educate in Style 2012
held on Thursday, November 15th 2012

The 1st annual fashion show made its debut in November. The theme for the show was trendy casual and featured multiple fashion retailers who showcased the season's hottest new looks.

Event attendes enjoyed a evening of light hor d'oeuvres, cash bar, music, a beauty bar, 50/50 raffle and pop-up shops featuring the runway looks and more.

Zumbathon Fundraiser
held on Saturday, December 1st 2012

 

Thank you to the 55 participants and 10 instructors who joined the party to benefit the Franklin Educational Foundation.

We were able to raise $1000 for the children of Franklin Public Schools.

Thank you to the donors and sponsors of the event, the Raffle had 18 items valued at more then $600 dollars.

Special Thank You also to Mulligan's Irish Pub & Grill in Franklin for hosting the After Zumbathon Party.

Second Annual Art Squared Community Art Project

100 artists have created an 6" Orignal canvas for the Community Art Project.

The theme, Consider The Possibilities of ...... Nature, was open to a wide interpretation of the individual artist's interest or specialty with regard to subject matter.
