We appreciate your patience as we register and build schedules for a 600 student Summer School program. Schedules will arrive in time for students to be ready to report on June 20th! We look forward to a great experience!
Session Times
Session 1: AM Bus riders to summer school
Session 2: 8:30-9:15
Session 3: 9:20-10:05
Session 4: 10:10-10:55
Session 5: 11:00-11:45
Session 6: PM Bus riders (from summer playground ONLY)
Come join the fun! Elementary Summer School will be offered for students entering first through sixth grade from June 20 to July 24 (please note: no school on July 4 or 5) at Robinwood Elementary School.
It is important to note that we will now have students who are entering 7th grade attend the middle/high school summer school program (more information will be coming out in the next couple of months).
If you have a child entering grades 1 through 6, within Franklin Public Schools, you will have an opportunity to register, for all general classes, online during the window which runs from April 8th-19th. More details will follow prior to the registration.
If you are a Franklin Resident interested in signing up for summer school and you do not have a child in Franklin Public Schools, you must first call 414-525-7041 and leave a detailed message with your son/daughter's name, school, your name, your email address, and phone number (after April 8th). You will get a return email/call and will be issued a registration login ID after we get some additional information. After you receive the login, you will need to fill out an online registration form for the classes during the April 8th-19th window.

Where is the Summer School waiting list for classes?
The link to the WAITING LIST is posted below; however, we will not be taking requests until after May 30th. Please understand that a full schedule may not be able to be accomodated due to late registration. There is a greater likelihood that classes for grades 4-6 will be available rather than those for grades K-3. If you submit a request before this date it will move to the bottom of the waiting list. Summer 2013: Beginning Band or Orchestra Camp
Band or Orchestra Camp this summer will be held at Pleasant View Elementary School on August 15, 16, 19, and 20 from 8:30-11:30 am.
These camps are ONLY available for 4th grade students entering 5th grade in the Fall, 2013.
WHAT ARE SOME OF THE IMPORTANT DATES FOR SUMMER SCHOOL?
-Online registration for summer school begins on April 8th (anytime during the day-no specific start time) and ends on April 19th at the following website: http://summerps.franklin.k12.wi.us/public/
Note: You will not be able to register until April 8th even if you have your login and password before that date. You will receive your login and password during Spring Break (via U.S. Mail), before April 8th.
Costs for enrichment classes, that require a fee, will be done online prior to summer school beginning. More information about that process will come at a later date.

HOW DO I REGISTER FOR SUMMER SCHOOL THIS YEAR?
You will receive a letter by U.S. mail that lists a login and password for you to register your child for summer school by April 8th. If you have not received this information by April 8th, please contact your home school's office.

WHAT IF SOME CLASSES ARE FULL?
We are using a new registration program this year and we are trying to accommodate as many student schedules as possible with this program. There is no guarantee that a student will or will not get into summer school because this program builds the best schedule in the hopes of scheduling as many students as possible within the class size constraints. If you want to increase your child's chances of getting into summer school, you need to be sure to select up to four "Alternate" classes. You will not receive confirmation of your summer school registration unless your son's/daughter's schedule requests were able to be accommodated by the scheduling program. If the schedule has been accommodated by the scheduling program, the confirmation will be mailed to your home by the second week of May. If you have registered for summer school and your schedule has not been accommodated, you will not receive any confirmation. If you do not get into summer school, you can fill out the following waiting list and we will try to accommodate your requests. Please understand that a full schedule may no longer be available.
