Library Media

The main focus of the Franklin High School Library Media Center is to provide students with the necessary resources and information retrieval skills to produce high quality research papers as well as provide access to age appropriate materials for pleasure reading. Keeping this in mind, we are committed to enriching the excellent curriculum that the district offers to its students. With the offering of over 21,000 volumes, 49 magazines subscriptions and access to thousands more via online databases, our students and staff are sure to find useful resources for their research or pleasure reading needs.

Our library media center is designed to accommodate up to three classes simultaneously without compromising our positive learning environment. Students and staff are provided access to the Internet and the World Wide Web via 32 networked computers and a variety of application software.

The regular schedule of the library is every school day from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. In addition students can access the library until 4:30 PM by taking care of their own transportation from school, or they may sign up for the late bus if they are residents of the city of Milwaukee.
