Chapter 220 Registration Period: February 4, 2013 to February 22, 2013 (no late applications accepted)

Franklin Public School has no seats available into Franklin Public Schools via the Chapter 220 program.  Any Milwaukee family wishing to attend Franklin Public Schools must apply through the Open Enrollment Program.  Registration period is February 4, 2013 to April 30, 2013 for the 2013-14 school year.  Remember through the Open Enrollment Program transportation is not provided.

Franklin residents wishing to participate in the Chapter 220 program into Milwaukee Public Schools must complete the Suburban Resident Application and return to Franklin Public Schools prior to the above deadlines.  In order to participate, the student must be a non-minority (white).

A list of all MPS schools is attached for your reference.  Parents can go to MPS website at http://mpsportal.milwaukee.k12.wi.us/portal/server.pt/comm/mps_home/335 to obtain more information regarding a specific school.  Simply click on the "All Schools List" and choose the school of your choice.  Franklin Public Schools also has a desk copy of MPS School Selection catalog if you have limited access to a computer or are unable to find you school choice.

All registrations must be returned to Franklin Public Schools at 8522 West Forest Hill Avenue, Franklin WI no later than February 22, 2013.

A completed application includes:

1) MPS Registration Form

2) Proof of Residency (tax bill, utility bill, etc.)

3) Original Birth Certificate

4) Complete/ Recent Immunization Records
