Looking Forward to Meeting You

Dear Pleasant View Parent(s),

I would like to tell you how excited I am to be here at Pleasant View Elementary School as the new Principal as of July 1st.  It is my pleasure to be able to serve and work with you, your son/daughter, and the staff at Pleasant View this upcoming year. I am energized to be working in a place where students and a quality education are so highly valued.  With that high level of commitment comes a dedication to making student learning a priority.

I am coming to Pleasant View with four years of administrative experience gained in Franklin at Forest Park Middle School and in Racine at two elementary schools. Over the course of the past three years, I have worked as the Associate Principal at Forest Park.  Before becoming an administrator, I was a teacher here in Franklin Public Schools at both Southwood Glen and Forest Park.  I am married to my wife, Karen, and we have three beautiful daughters, Kaylee, who is five years old, and Kyla, who is almost three years old, and Kaitria, who is seven months old.

I would like to formally invite you and your family to a “Meet Mr. Foeckler” day coming up on July 9th.  This day will run from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the Pleasant View gym or playground area (weather permitting).  There will be a family photo opportunity and a short informational session with me.  I will also be holding some open office hours for any parents to come in and talk.  These times will occur on July 7th from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm and July 8th from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm.  I look forward to meeting you and working with you in the near future.

I am excited to team with you this year to help your son/daughter achieve high levels of personal success.  By building on student strengths, we are well on our way to helping our students meet and exceed their expectations for themselves.  If I can offer you assistance in any way, please let me know.  Also, please feel free to stop in at anytime if you have any questions or concerns.  This year brings new challenges to me and to you, and it is my intent to assist you in providing your son/daughter a “world class” education.
