All students are offered instruction in Family Life Education (Human Growth and Development).  It is the district's belief that parents and guardians should be the primary educators in this area and that the school should support and supplement those efforts.  The Family Life Education curriculum consists of a grade-level progression of knowledge and concepts.  Copies of the Health Curriculum are available at each building.  Parents are notified in advance about the topics being taught so that they may be prepared for their child's questions.  They are also provided with an option for their child's participation in these lessons.
