Student Handbook - Dress Code

Students are expected to dress appropriately for a school environment. School officials reserve the right to prohibit any personal dress that they deem to be distracting, disruptive, indecent, hazardous, or inappropriate.

Bandanas, caps with visors, and other gang-related symbols are not permitted.  Clothing with suggestive or inappropriate language or artwork is not allowed.  Shirts may not be revealing-no tank tops, tube tops, halter tops, spaghetti straps, etc.  No midriffs or underwear should be exposed at any time.  Shorts and skirts should be long enough to touch with the student's longest fingers when arms are at his/her sides. Clothing with inappropriate words or pictures, headgear (hats, scarves, etc.), sunglasses, bare feet, outer coats worn indoors are not permitted. Face and hair paint are distracting and not allowed.

Students who do not follow these guidelines will be required to remove or cover-up the unacceptable item. If necessary, parents will be called to bring replacement clothing.
