JAPANESE STUDENT VISITS
On Sunday, October 25th, 10 7th and 10 9th graders arrived in Franklin from Niihama, Japan to spend a week with Franklin families and students. They were accompanied by 5 adults including an English teacher. On Wednesday the students and their hosts were able to enjoy a bit of sightseeing around the Milwaukee area with a visit to the Milwaukee Public Museum and Miller Park. Miller Park was the most popular with both the American and Japanese students. The rest of the week the visitors shadowed their hosts and experienced Franklin schools. The week went fast but friendships were made. The Niihama students left early morning, November 1st, to return to Japan. We would like to especially thank the families of Delaney Hayes, Benjamin Croft, Ali Turna, Skylyn Schaefer, Mia Helker, Natascha Nussbaum, Lauren Hollis, Abby Hanna, Eva Mason, Kendra Haselow, and Emmah Crass from the middle school. From the high school, we would like to thank the families of Bryce Hoppe, Zack Brubaker, Connor Lancaster, Jacob Hyatt, Sheridan Hayes, Faith Hall, Hailey Schwengel, and Trinity Hanson. Without them this program could not have happened this year. You made this a special time for the 20 visitors we had at Franklin Public Schools.
ありがとうございます Thank you so much!
