Student Council Shines
Country Dale's Student Council Shines Again! Student Council organized a Food Drive to help the local food pantry. We exceeded our goal! Thank you Student Council for your hard work and to our Country Dale families for again helping those in need.
Student Council organized a drive for Mitchell School in Racine. This is the school that is rebuilding after a fire. Country Dale was able to raise over $390.00 in donations and gift cards as well as 21 boxes of school supplies. We are very proud of our students! Thank you Country Dale families for your generosity!

Learning is our Bridge to a Brighter Future!
This year our students have an opportunity to earn a Country Dale Cougar T-shirt exactly like the one our staff has. In fact, 5 of our students have earned them by doing something exceptional that makes Country Dale better for their efforts. Each exceptional act was noticed by a staff member and that student was nominated and awarded a T-shirt at our second assembly this year! Congratulations Ashlyn, Ben, Brianna, Sophie, Gabby,Brayden, and Sunia. Even more exciting is that on the back of the T-shirts is a QR code that links to our first student created website. On that website will be pictures of all the students who earn a T-shirt throughout the year as well as additional Country Dale information. We can thank Mrs. DeBellis for working every Thursday night for two hours with approximately 35 students who are putting their creative skills to work on this important website. Mr. Calkins, Ms. Sherri Dodd, and Ms. Corrie Larson have also volunteered to aid in accomplishing this worthwhile representation of our students' learning!

A Year of Building Bridges!
Help Us Welcome Our New School Family Members!
Country Dale is fortunate to add 7 new members to it's school family, one of whom is new to us but has been part of the Franklin School District for a number of years. Jennifer Kraynick will be joining Ms. Dargiewicz in the art department teaching the majority of our art classes! We are happy to have Ms. Kraynick, formerly from Robinwood, with us this year. Another new addition to our specialist department will be Country Dale's new harmony music teacher, Mrs. Amy Meyer! Amy has had numerous years teaching music but will be closer to her home in Greendale since joining Franklin's school district. You will find Mrs. Meyer's passion for music and teaching contagious!
Our 4th grade team is completely new this year! Their genuine sincerity in wanting to make strong connections to students and their families coupled with an already impressive work ethic will ensure this will be a successful year in 4th grade! Miss Rachel Kleman comes to Country Dale from a career in Eau Claire teaching 2nd, 4th, and 5th grade students! Rachel is excited to be closer to her family now that she is back in the Milwaukee area! Mr. John Brandes, new to teaching, is not new to the Franklin School District. John was a former Robinwood student and graduated from Franklin High School. No wonder he shined during his interview to complete a long-term placement for Stephanie Aseltine! The last member of the fourth grade team is Ms. Emily Goodrum who has had a varied and impressive teaching career. Emily was a former high school English teacher, an elementary teacher, as well as a special education teacher and has the enthusiasm, as well as the knowledge, to help students reach their goals!
Country Dale staff also feels fortunate to have Mrs. Laura Maier join our team supporting students as our math specialist. She will be working with students, who may need additional support, but also has a key position in the district coordinating math programming and the RtI process as it relates to math intervention. Finally, we welcome Mrs. Erin Szablewski, a new educational assistant, who will fulfill a variety of supportive positions throughout the school day!. Erin has completed her course work in elementary education through Alverno College and will be an asset as a result of her educational background.
